The Downswood community centre has been exclusively and successfully managed by volunteers from the Downswood Community Association, (Registered Charity No: 298218), since the opening in 1990.
We receive no regular funding, grants or donations and the centre runs on hiring fees and fundraising, which is why we need you to please support our fundraising events. The centre is available to hire to any persons or group, (subject to availability and hiring conditions). Just give the centre Booking Secretary a ring: 0771 563 2684. Vanessa will be happy to help you with any enquiries. Volunteers from the Downswood Community Association organise and run fundraising events to raise funds for the upkeep of the centre and are always looking for people to help us.
